HSC Pax Catamaran 'Aero 3 Highspeed'
CSIM Aero Highspeed 3 for VSNG
The Aero High-Speed Passenger Catamaran class was designed by Brødrene Aa of Norway and currently operates in the Saronic Sea, Greece. The class was first introduced in 2022, with Aero 3 Highspeed being the third and final vessel delivered to Attica Group – Hellenic Seaways. Following the deliveries of Aero 1 and 2 in June and July, respectively, Aero 3 was completed and entered service in August 2022. Collectively, the Aero fleet offers up to 17 daily connections from the port of Piraeus to the Saronic Islands.
This add-on has been crafted with immersive precision, based on real-world photographic material and technical drawings. It features an authentic bridge, 1:1 instruments, a fully modeled interior, and much more.
General Characteristics
Aero 3 is powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines (1,081 kW each at 2,300 rpm), which drive two Kongsberg KaMeWa S56-4 waterjets. This setup enables a top speed of 32.2 knots, which is then enhanced by an advanced Humphree Interceptor Ride Control System (RCS). The vessel has a passenger capacity of 150 (single class), with an overall length of 36.6 meters and a beam of 9.7 meters.
