Terms of Service (ToS) of Compass Simulations

Introduction to Compass Simulations' Terms of Service (ToS):

This legal agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Compass Simulations ("Compass Simulations" or "we" or "us" or “CSIM”) and governs the use of all Compass Simulations software products ("Software") and any supplemental information that Compass Simulations has made available, including documents together with their accompanying supplemental information. This Terms of Service ("ToS") supplements the End User License Agreement as well as the Privacy Agreement and Requirements to Play (for subscription-based products).

By using Compass Simulations’ Software and related services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this ToS. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Software and related services.

LICENSE GRANT

Compass Simulations grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Software solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and not official training purposes, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The Software, including all related intellectual property rights, is and shall remain the exclusive property of Compass Simulations and its licensors. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights in the Software to you.

USER OBLIGATIONS

You agree to use the Software in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and this Agreement.
You will not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or reverse engineer the Software, except as expressly permitted by this Agreement. 3.3 You will not engage in any activity that may disrupt or interfere with the proper functioning of the Software or its associated services.

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILTY

The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Compass Simulations makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Software's performance, functionality, or fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall Compass Simulations be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Software or its associated services.

TERMINATION

Compass Simulations may, at its sole discretion, terminate this Agreement if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and related services and destroy any copies of the Software in your possession.

AMENDMENTS

Compass Simulations reserves the right to modify or amend this Agreement at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated version of the ToS on our website or notifying you through other means. Your continued use of the Software and related services after such modifications or amendments constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
