Blue Star Patmos is a Ro-Pax ferry built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South Korea, which was delivered to Blue Star Ferries in 2012. She is among the newest additions to the Blue Star fleet, operating primarily on routes from Piraeus to the Dodecanese islands.
This add-on has been developed using technical drawings, photographic references, and aid from maritime professionals. The model features a fully recreated bridge with 1:1 scale navigational equipment and instruments, highly detailed spaces, including the garage and exterior public areas, which match real-world dimensions.
General Characteristics
Blue Star Patmos is powered by four MAN-B&W diesel engines (8.000 kW at 750 rpm each), which deliver a combined output of 32,000 kW. It's equipped with two controllable pitch propellers (CPP), aft, at 167 rpm each, along with bow thrusters. The vessel can carry up to 2,000 passengers and 427 vehicles, with a gross tonnage of 32,728 GT. Her overall length is 145.5 meters, with a beam of 23.2 meters and a draught of 5.9 meters.
